The Young Writers Workshop now offers two workshops for teens from around the country who love to write. This poetry workshop helps emerging poets express themselves as writers and better understand themselves as readers.
- The Creative Essay for Teens
A generative workshop for students interested in creative nonfiction as a form of expression, as well as for those hoping to come up with ideas for college application essays.

Explore a variety of voices, forms and styles. Develop your form and craft through analysis and creative prompts. Talk deeply and critically about your own work. Give smart and useful feedback on exercises and assignments.

You'll leave with a better understanding of your interests and goals as a writer, an understanding of what it takes to make a career in the literary community, and a highly-developed body of new work.
